They’re deeply committed to their role as an experienced and clear-eyed authority with over 30 years of experience in the real estate investment industry. A black owned mortgage brokerage, they exemplify a hyper focus on the diverse investor with over $250 million in volume during their tenure.

1 Core Financial’s next decade is focused on growing their business from regional to national. Since the company hadn’t updated their branding since 2009, their identity didn’t reflect the growth and innovation of the past 15 years. They needed an expression of their expertise and dedication to real estate investors, big and small, in everything from their business cards to their digital presence.

The 1 Core Crown logomark was created to subtly communicate the scale of their offerings, their expert capabilities and the pride they take in every partnership. The goal was to create a mark that had the resonance of its experience while still appealing to a burgeoning millennial target, who are growing more savvy and sophisticated in investing by the year.

One of our number one learnings in our research, when it comes to what matters most to customers in the mortgage space, price is not the number one priority. That surprised us. Customer experience, which boiled down to assurance and timely communication, was the main thing prospective clients looked for in reviews and marketing communications. We tailored our materials to speak directly to that priority, and in everything we created, we focused on backing it up with research.
