The first step in branding Haus was stripping their identity down to its bare essence. They are storytellers. And the way they tell their stories is through music. In other words, the artists at Haus are The MusicTellers.

Like music itself, there are many layers to the logo designed for Haus. On the surface, it appears bold, clean and contemporary. It exudes confidence. Look a little closer, and you can see the logo is a study in shape, symmetry, and negative space. It’s two-dimensional in design, but the story it tells is as three-dimensional as the music and the sounds that Haus creates on a daily basis.

Music as Color

Music as Color

Music is tempo. It’s energy. It’s volume, mode, and pitch. It’s harmonic and melodic, simple and complex. And music is color. Its sounds can produce bright and vivid imagery as suddenly as the colors can turn dark and muted. Music is not something that should just be felt. It’s something that should be seen. Up close and personal is how we approach the color of music.

The Neon Aurora palette is fluid, magnetic and alluring. It magnifies the fluid nature of music in a way that captures the raw emotion you feel when you hear that favorite song or band.

The Digital Experience

Haus tells stories through music for tv, and advertising. But for their website, we needed to tell the story of Haus. And there was a lot to say. It needed to be organized, clean, and contemporary. It needed to be friendly to the user and as dynamic as their artistry. We had to make it sing.
